Hot Chili Peepers Conversations

"Yesterday Night, around beers and "Chiles Toreados", we spoke about the opportunities of Latin America and its role to save the world, more of one time. The place was a old beer factory build in the end of 30's by two German immigrants who flayed first the war and after, the poverty of the crisis in United States.

In the table, we were European and Latinamerican of almost 10 different nationalities. One of us, an Italian guy, a little perturbed by the hot chili peeper,  told us how he is fine here, in the middle of the chaos of Mexico City and the impression to communicate easy with a simple look or simple words with the people - even the Mexican flag is the same as Italian!!! - he was joking, but after, more seriously, he said as Latin America is a place to create beyond of the old-world traditions.

Similar stories were said in all night long. we as Latin-American people, we just listen closely. In any case, same if we are first, second or third generation in this continent, we share the history of the immigrants, and here, as the Italian, same perturbed by the flavor of  the hot chili peeper or for the beautiful nature. Without nostalgia, with simple looks or only with the silence, to create a new life

So, nowadays in crisis time also, I think about the new "save the world" of us. Opportunities in the crucible of the Hispanic, African and pre-Hispanic with new people that arrives here, in the open land, the real and new open land.  What new world for the oldest crisis world? What new land for the (one more time) north American fearful land."
